Roman temple site – Tongeren

This contemporary visual presentation shows a part of the Roman temple complex that used to dominate the city and region during the Roman period. The original wall remnants of the central temple building are preserved under the current visual presentation.

Visits

The temple site is open to the public:

  • from 1 April to 30 September during the week and weekend from 10 am – 4 pm;
  • from 1 October to 31 March during the week from 10 am – 4 pm and during the weekend from 10 am – 3.30 pm.
