This is the site of five reconstructed Iron Age burial mounds (450 BC), three of which unquestionably belonged to key figures. There is also a burial area created 100 years previously with 44 graves and a Roman sanctuary. A ‘cista’ and two ‘situlae’ were discovered in the elite graves. Bronze buckets used as funeral urns, these objects are part of the Gallo-Roman Museum’s collection of exceptional items.
